· While performing this activity, I felt tired at first. It was hard to keep going while jogging and running because my body would get tired easy as it was not used to the amount of physical exercise I was doing. After running and jogging, when stretching, I would feel relaxed and calm after sitting still for a few minutes. This would bring a tranquil calm into my mind which was refreshing after a day at school. Slowly after a couple of weeks, I did not feel as exhausted while and after running and my body would feel more active throughout the day. Even though I was only working out every other day, my body did not get tired due to the previous weeks exercise. I felt good that I was finally taking charge of my health and taking a step forward to improve my health and lifestyle.
· I found that this activity was very beneficial to me physically and mentally. Although I did not lose much weight, I felt more confident in myself which is important to have, especially at this age. I was also able to sleep quicker as my mind was able to relax after stretching and mediating a little bit. Because I was feeling more confident in myself and more relaxed, less tired, was able to concentrate more easily on other tasks such as homework and school. The same discipline and commitment I implemented in this fitness plan was used in other things in my life that also mattered. Although it was difficult at first, I eventually gained discipline in maintaining the plan I had set up and going through with the goals I had set for myself.
· I found that once you had a constant part in your lifestyle and have made one positive change in your habits, your overall attitude improves and it is easier to make other life improving decisions. One of the most important lessons I learned through this activity was to complete a goal you set and commit to a task. This same concept can be applied to studies, relationships and other projects that may arise.
